Oh What a Feeling!

Tanner received his Eagle Award this week. It felt great to see him receive this award. He is our fourth and final son to achieve his Eagle rank. Tanner didn't want a lot of pomp and circumstance for the ceremony. He wanted the ceremony simple, and would have preferred to just have the award just handed to him.

CONGRATULATIONS TANNER! We are proud of you.

For his Eagle project, Tanner made a landscaping path to the flagpole at our church, and also did landscaping around the flag, and church sign. He then figured out how to light the flag at night, so the flag can be raised continuously.

For this he also held fund raising events to buy the supplies. He held a breakfast/brunch fund raiser, went to the various stores, and asked for discounts, or donations, and found others to donate for his cause.
